You don't need to be a baker to bake bread - Easy No-knead Artisan bread

Ingredients


All purpose flour - 2 & 1/2 cups

Whole wheat flour - 1/2 cup

Water - 1 & 1/2 cup

Activated dry yeast - 1tbs

Sugar - 1tsp

Salt - 1 & 1/2 tsp


Preparation:


* Take 1/2 cup of warm water (80°c to 100°c) in a cup

* Then add the sugar and yeast

* Cover it to activate for 10 minutes

* Now take a large bowl, add both flours and salt, stir together with a spatula

* Now add the activated yeast and the remaining warm water to the flour and mix it to form a dough

* Cover it and let it rise at room temperature for 1 hour

* After 1 hour, with well - floured hands, stretch the dough and fold it towards the centre, let it rest for another hour.

* Take 1 tbs of oil in your hand fold and stretch the dough one more time, let it rest for another 45 minutes

* At this time, place the covered Dutch Oven inside the oven and preheat it at 180°c for 45 minutes

* Finally after the last 45 minutes, dust in some flour over the dough and place the dough inside the preheated Dutch Oven lined with parchment and bake it for 45 minutes

* Upon 45 minutes remove the lid and let it bake for another 20 minutes t o get the golden brown colour

* After 20 minutes remove it from the Dutch Oven and transfer it to a rack to cool.





Your fresh homemade No Knead artisan bread is ready to serve.
