A dessert based on a tribute to the Russian Ballerina Anna Pavlova

Pavlova


Ingredients:


Egg whites - 6

Caster sugar - 1 & 1/2 cup

Corn flour - 2 tbs

Vanilla extract - 1 tsp

White vinegar -1 tsp

Salt a pinch


Preparation:


* In a bowl whisk the egg white till soft peaks

* Gradually add sugar until you get smooth peaks

* Now add vanilla extract and vinegar and whisk properly

* Finally add corn flour and mix until incorporated to get stiff peaks

* This will take approximately 10 minutes

* Now in a piping bag add the above fluffy meringue mixture

* Preheat the oven for 10 minutes

* In a baking tray add a parchment paper and make two big round cloud shape disk and * shape it into Pavlova by smoothing gently from the outside or 9 small disk by leaving some space in between

* Bake them in the oven for 90 minutes to 121°c

* Once done remove and let it cool

* Garnish them with whipped cream, fruits of your choice and chocolate.





They are ready to be served during the festivities and are easy to make.
