Ancient Greek savoury pastry packed with Mediterranean flavours. You will fall in love with this easy recipe. Why don't you try and enjoy the richness of mixed cheese and taste this delicious Spanakopita with your family and friends.



Ingredients:


Olive oil - 1tbs

Puff pastry sheets - 2

Spinach- 350grams

Ricotta Cheese - 380grams

Mozzarella Cheese / Feta Cheese - 100grams

Parmigiano-Reggiano Cheese - 1Tbsp

Butter 1tbs and Milk 3 - 4tbs or 1 egg to brush

Salt and pepper as per taste


Steps:


* Wash the spinach and let it dry for 10 mins.

* Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and let it rest for another 10 minutes, except for milk / egg

* In a baking tray place a baking sheet and one of the puff pastry sheets

* Spread the above mixture homogeneously

* Take another puff pastry sheet and place it over the first one to make a Pie

* Stick the inside with some milk or egg wash

* Brush the outer cover with butter

* Give some cuts in the centre

* Preheat the oven to 180°c for 10 minutes

* Put the pastry inside for 25 - 30 minutes

* Ready to serve the delicious Spanakopita
